Yes, a new word after months of silence. (my excuse is partly because I forgot who's turn it was, and partly because we got caught in the middle of our move and haven't quite gotten back on track with all the plates to be spun)
I'm goin' with feet on this one. Here's my entry...I give you a shot of a farm girl foot that has never once been pedicured, no editing on the photo: ...just a plain simple foot with all it's snaggy nails and hairy toes!
This morning I and about 5 friends got up before 5 and headed out to North Lincoln to watch the sun rise. :) I know them from a Christian group oncampus, and they're all lovely people. This is Caroline making a funny face, and Jake, who will be working with me at the stu. newspaper in the fall.
And we can't forget the snapper turtle we found in the backyard... couple more pics at my blog :)
For me this is symbolic of the dailyhourly CONSTANT toil of endless messes of various degrees and substances. But to be truthful it is also symbolic of the joys of having carefree little ones to squeeze and love...and clean up after. :) My mom had a good idea for a kitchen with a drain in the floor, to hose down after the herd comes through of course. I think her inspiration was our grate floors in the hog buildings under which the sewer flushed out the waste and mess. ...what can I say, my two little mess makers are good ones!
All your pictures were great!! It's my turn to think of the next word, I'll have to come up with something good...
